now with the campaign legal center. so, this is the latest link, right? even though you have this lawyer saying with the exception, right, this is the latest link between the trump organization and efforts to silence stormy daniels. can you explain the significance of having this attorney jill martin s signature on the arbitration documents. right, when it came out that michael cohen was involved, his answer was, i was doing this on my own, nobody in the trump organization knew about it and e-mails came out from michael cohen using the trump organization e-mail. he said, well, people do that, they do it personally, the organization had nothing to do with it. now we find out that jill martin signed the document in the arbitration, representing the consulting firm, the llc, and used the trump organization address and her only job as far as we know is the trump organization, she doesn t take cases on the side, so this raises the question of whether or not the trump organization is much
new documents reveal another trump organization lawyer is involved in the legal battle surrounding the hush money payment to silence stormy daniels. the president s long-time personal attorney said he did this. he made the $130,000 payment himself. nobody was connected to it at the trump organization. donald trump then didn t know about it. and he wasn t paid back, which is a critical piece. now documents reveal, no, in fact, there was another top attorney at the trump organization, jill martin. her signature is on one of the legal documents that establishes the llc or at least is connected to the llc. there you see her signature. so what does this mean now?
lawsuit. and she went and filed it anyway. now you have this damages mechanism in there. if you lose on the law, this appearance, everything daniels says, those will be amounting different penalties that you will have to pay. are you worried about that? quite honestly, no. that s not what the traeurt said. when mr. cohen proceeded in that arbitration he proceeded under the llc which doesn t have the right to proceed under the agreement. he had to do so is on behalf of mr. trump. he did not do so. and i think it s obvious why he didn t. this may be too in the weeds for people. the law matters. but the llc is what brought the action and what he signed as a representative of. that s where he got his money from is obviously another matter. he said it was from a credit line from his house. why could he bring this action? that s who signed it, him on on behalf of the llc? because the agreement
violation. president trump is obligated, under federal law, to disclose all sorts of information, and he signed and personally certified a financial disclosure, including assets and liabilities. but he didn t mention this hush agreement, the llc, that owns the hush agreement, a possible loan from mr. cohen. none of that is in there. and the notion that he didn t know about this is kind of silly. come on. have you ever given $130,000 gift to someone you worked with? that s ridiculous! mr. cohen had to taken out a home equity, apparently, he claims. he had to take it out of his home equity line of credit. it s hard to believe and a gift? come on! or at least that there was an understanding that he would be paid back. and we know he tried to reach, according to media reports, he was trying to reach mr. trump during this period when the $130,000 payment was delayed.
