and donald trump, people can say congressman said he s a new guy, he s a new president. he presumably knows when he becomes president what he can and can t do. for me, kicking vice-president pence and attorney general sessions out of the oval office and having a one on one meeting with the fbi director is very unusual. i would love to know how that happened it s unusual to me if comey felt pressure that day on february 14th and he wrote a memo that he didn t do something then, it s only until after he s fired he has a recovered memory of what it meant. without the memo. until i see it. going to attorney general sessions and saying, we need to launch an investigation of donald trump and say, you know, what, i m worried about what happened, i m memorialized this, let s see what happens the next month or two. obstruction of justice may not be in one day. putting that memo on record is building a case over time, one event doesn t break the camel s
collusion there s no suggestion that they all had a private discussion. they were in the same room. isn t that the problem with all this stuff, there are all suggestions that the democrats have failed to connect to any kind of collusion or anything that warrants the speculation. i m not saying there aren t questions, but questions don t always lead to the right kinds of answers. how important is it that the democrats show some there there at some point. i would say when does the department of justice show there s some there there soon. they ve leaked out that we haven t seen any collusion between the trump people and the russians. what will be the straw that breaks the camel s back? how much can they show that equates something really wrong as opposed to circumstance. it s going to be some meeting, some discussion, some quid pro quo going on between some entintermediatry with the p campaign if that were to happen and the russian official.
it can be broken down into the actual syndrome in a medical standpoint which is focussed on the heart where the heart actually fails. it becomes like somebody who s having an heart attack without blockage of the arteries and that is caused by the severe stress from someone passing. but also the same phenomenon with other organs including the brain. the blood vessels with spasm and you can have similar to a stroke from that severe stress. you can t say it is always deadly, right? actually, most of the time it is not deadly. most of the time we re able to manage this. because it is not an organic problem. it is not blockage of the artery. it is actually the stress is something that is putting the heart or other organs into so much duress that they just need to overcome that time. can you overcome that stress. time is important. but if your health is already failing that may be the last straw of the camel s back to tip
what someone does with that kind of leadership position, and so i think this is kind of in combination with all of the things that we ve seen from donald trump, all of the statements, for many republicans, quite frankly, this is a straw that is kind of breaking the camel s back, so to speak. eamon, if i could add, on that tape, at kaitlyn was suggesting, you have not only donald trump boasting about things that are morally repugnant, you also have him boasting about things that are crimes. and this is something that, if you re mike pence, and you are a devout conservative christian running as the vice presidential nominee, you have defended donald trump over and over, diminished things that are embarrassing to you personally to try to stayen 0 the ticket and make it work. this is a lot to take. his reaction s will be
do you think this is the straw that breaks the camel s back? there vab have been a lot of straws and i don t think it will break the back of those strong supporters. but i tell you the effect it is having. we have talked about trump having a strong floor of supporters that keeps him up in the mid twenties let s say. but he also has a very low ceiling. and that low ceiling is in perhaps the mid 30s. what this controversy is doing, because it is so universal opposed by his other candidates, the other candidates running against him, it is taking the concrete of the ceiling and reinforcing it. making it stronger. so that it will be even more difficult for him to ever breakthrough that ceiling. but john, just quickly in that interview with chris. trump said towards the end, look. this is common sense.
