and you re just looking and then you re just gone and i loved it. i was like, free. the sense of freedom. the skyjump for us doing it together, it was a statement for the two of us. you know, the two of us are still strong. you know, we can do this because over the years i ve had a lot of surgeries myself, a few more now to go through. and it s a fact of whenever you go in for surgery, you just think to yourself, why, what was this all for? you do feel so angry, you wished it had never had happened? but we re here and it s made us all the stronger. and some people just weren t so lucky unfortunately. i lost my leg and i had a few more amputations after that. you automatically think, well, this is why, it s because of that day. today, you know, i m. i know what s going to sound weird. i wish i wasn t there that day, but i m proud of my scars. i m proud of, yes, that i have a limb because you know what, that s me, that s my story, that is my history.
