President of the J&K unit of BJP Ravinder Raina said that the priority of the BJP is two Parliamentary seats in Jammu province. The central leadership will decide on three Lok Sabha seats of Kashmir Valley.
Confident of retaining two Parliamentary seats in Jammu province and the lone constituency of Ladakh, the BJP has shifted its focus to the Lok Sabha seats in Kashmir Valley to improve its tally in the 2019 general elections.
After attending a meeting of the provincial committee of the party at Jammu, general secretary of the National Conference Ali Mohammad Sagar asserted that there is no reason to leave any Lok Sabha seat of Kashmir Valley to alliance partners.
After winning three Lok Sabha seats in successive elections in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP is now working to improve its tally in the coming Parliamentary elections in both the Union Territories.
To improve its tally of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP is focussing on new areas especially in South Kashmir to win Anantnag Parliamentary seats.
