However, dine-in customers must pay and order before being seated, with servers delivering food and drinks once its ready.

About three weeks after the owner of a popular Lubbock restaurant died due to COVID-19 complications, the man’s family is coming together to give back to the Lubbock community who supported them for many years.

The future of Thai Pepper is currently unseen as the family mourns the passing of their father Trakool Kool Srivarodom, who passed away in early January from complications of COVID-19. With family-run restaurants, the quality of the dishes pours from the love of the cook preparing it. Kool was one half of the cooking staff, his wife the other. She s the one who made the free meals provided today, with donations benefiting Lubbock Impact.
