âThe guys from work would always ask about what I was eating, so she would make a little extra for them,â Don said.
After some time, Donâs coworkers began buying meals from her. The biggest hit with them was her Oriental dumplings.

âEnough people told us we should start a restaurant, that we started looking into it,â Don said.

After realizing how difficult it would be to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant during a pandemic, the couple bought a food truck instead. Thaidaho Thai Food Truck opened on Nov. 20. The couple decided to put it near their house on the west side of town in the parking lot of Skiâs House of Guns.
