As per the media speculations, the DA arrears of employees at Level-3 can be estimated between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. For Level-13 or Level-14, the arrears of employees can range between Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,15,900. However, upon further negotiations with the government, these figures might also change, said reports previously.
Shekhar Channe, vice chairman and managing director of MSRTC, told PTI that the government has given the nod for increasing DA to 34 per cent from the existing 28 per cent. The hike will put a financial burden of Rs 15 crore per month on the state-owned public transport body.
Former Chief Secretary Sudhakar Rao has been appointed as the chairman of commission for the revision of pay-scale of the state government employees, he said.
The government order further said that arrears on account of additional installment of Dearness Allowance with effect from July, 2022 shall be paid in cash to Government Pensioners/Family pensioners in two equal installments (one in the month of November, 2022 and other in the month of December, 2022) and shall form part of pension /family pension from November, 2022 onwards.
