Freeway near san pablo road remains closed. The shooting happened near the off ramp on eastbound 80, just before the san pablo avenue off ramp. Two people were shot. A male and a femalechopper landed on the freeway to transport the male victim who was shot multiple times to the hospital by air. The female victim is expected to survive. This portion of the freeway has been shut down for nearly 5 hours, and as you can imagine, rush hour traffic has been nothing but gridlock. People have been sitting in traffic for hours. Drivers are advised to take westbound 580 through richmond, eastbound 24, richmond parkway, or even consider Public Transportation such as bart. Investigators are still working at this hour.
