Pat yourself on the muscles Texans because we have the strongest people in the country.
I don t know about you, but my workouts have been slacking since this coronavirus craziness hit. I haven t been in a gym since March. I m doing at home workouts and they re not the same. I can t wait to go lift some weights and I got to remember to not hurt myself. I haven t lifted in quite some time.
However, it looks like some of you have been working hard. At least according to the fine folks at Lift Vault. They re an online resource for powerlifting, bodybuilding and strength training. They have analyzed data and set out to determine where in America do the country’s physically strongest men and women live.
until the midterms and early voting starting in some places, we want to know what is motivating you to get out to the polls this year. we re asking people of all different political stripes to share their reasons in a segment we call why i m voting. here s today s installment. i m a republican woman from texas. and i m voting straight republican ticket to keep texas red and to keep texas strong. i feel like women s rights are definitely one of my top concerns. as well as environmental issues. pro-life, second amendment. the economy. immigration. you name it. for a lot of reasons. but i think one issue that sticks out for me is gun control. tell us why you re voting. you can weigh in on the conversation. post a video to instagram telling us what s pushing you to the polls this year. use the hashtag #whyyvotecnn.
could repurpose these to help people in these times of need. we came back and incorporated this team rubicon and we have been trying to build the best disaster response organization possible ever since. there is nothing more american than getting out and helping your fellow neighbor. so let s get out there and do it. janice: so i went to wharton texas one of the hardest hit areas south of houston. i met one rubicon as they community center one of the neighborhoods where these volunteers have come out to help. if you want to make a difference and change lives, go look this up group called team rubicon. next tough, texas strong. it s knowing who your neighbors are well before a disaster so when disaster strikes you know who in your community needs help the most. maybe they are disabled. maybe they have limited mobility. maybe think just need a hand to get back on track.
