yesterday at a church in downtown l.a., buses with 42 migrants showed up, bussed there from texas. took 24 hours on the bus and wound up there. what is interesting, mayor of l.a., karen bass knew the bus was coming and mobilized emergency services to make sure they could handle it. that is laughable. we re talking about only 42 migrants in a city of millions in los angeles. they got to bring in emergency preparedness. brownsville probably gets 42 an hour. el paso, same thing. the whole reason they sent them to los angeles is because they are sanctuary city. texas doesn t want them, send them to a sanctuary. abbott the governor of florida, ron desantis was sending them on private planes and sean interviewed gavin newsom, he
men from carrying out evil acts on innocent people in peaceful communities. so, clearly governor abbott felt pretty good about the gun laws in his state at that time. boy, has he continued to make that and are a proud. texas doesn t require person to pass a criminal background check before buying a gun from an unlicensed cell. texas is not required to obtain a license before carrying a handgun in public. and not to be outdone, greg abbott s policy in the united states senate have worked hard to keep the nra in their good graces as well. this is not an excuse to infringe the second amendment rights of law-abiding citizens. doing that will do nothing to fix tragedies like this. and evidently, when there s a murder of this kind, you see politicians trying to politicize it. you see democrats in a lot of folks in the media whose immediate solution is to try to
shadows. so stupid. permission to make an analogy? dana: think i so. jesse: this is like a lawyer complaining all of these people are coming to them with problems. that s what you signed up for. you re a sanctuary city. correct me if i m wrong, is the mayor of martha s vineyard black or white? i have to look into that. de blasio i believe was white, right? right. jesse: rahm emanuel, was he white? dana: pretty white. jesse: why wasn t texas sending illegals to these white mayors? i ll answer that question for myself. it s because there wasn t a record-breaking and of illegals that were overflowing the border back then. it has nothing to do with race. texas is full. texas doesn t even have a state income tax. they re still paying for all of these illegals. millions of them. the mayor here is complaining about a couple thousand with more resources than any other
inte intervening time if the fifth circuit, say they put a stay, a hold on judge kaz maric in texas s order, say they do that this week, the justice department doesn t need to do anything at all. then the plaintiffs might try to get it appealed. i think what people need to understand is right now it s the status quo even still has access to the drug what will get interesting is if the texas order actually goes into effect. we talk about those two conflicting orders, right, jose? remember the washington state case doesn t cover everybody in the country. it only covers the 18 blue states that sued over it because the democratic ags that brought that case were worried about the texas case and so they did a mirror lawsuit that case in texas doesn t actually you know, the ramifications are a little bit different than the ones in washington state so it s something to watch there, how these two interplay laura jarrett, thank you very much for explaining that sure.
state legislature. tennessee like texas doesn t have extreme risk protective orders, doesn t have background check legislation, doesn t have age limit restrictions. an 18-year-old it wasn t the case today in tennessee but an 18-year-old could buy a weapon like this and commit all sorts of horrific acts. we ve got to do something in our nation. there is one common denominator. there is mental health problems all over this country, as all over the world as one of your previous speakers suggested. but we have no gun laws. it s not to say that we have weak gun laws. our gun laws are so weak that a 12-year-old has a t-shirt that says i deserve to have my weapons of mass destruction, i deserve to have my ar-15. we have a giant problem in this country. and from here on out people are
