Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Shout out to Mr. Wells for holding down the fort over the weekend per usual. This weekend featured the Conference Championship games for the AFC and NFC, with some good news and bad news for Jets’ fans. The good news is that the Bills won’t be playing in the Super Bowl. The best move the Ravens can make is not investing in Jackson right now but investing around him, starting with a No. 1 wide receiver like Allen Robinson.
The trend has been for teams to extend their franchise quarterbacks early in their rookie contracts. The Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes and Houston Texans Deshaun Watson signed extensions heading into their fourth NFL season. Next season will be Jackson s fourth.

While the result feels familiar and the goal of improving to climb closer to a Super Bowl remains, the Ravens this weekend entered an offseason facing challenges unique to the makeup of this particular roster. Perhaps the most important one to address, like so much else about the team, revolves around the quarterback.
