A self-described “Christian and conservative Republican” Disney fan was roasted on social media for arguing in a Friday op-ed for the Orlando Sentinel that changes to Disney World’s Splash Mountain, Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean rides were ruining his experience at the theme park for the sake of “political correctness.”
In his piece, Jonathan VanBoskerck said Disney was taking the “woke scalpel” to Jungle Cruise by removing Trader Sam, an animatronic salesman who appears at the end of the ride to exchange human heads and plays into racist stereotypes of Indigenous peoples. Oatly’s Super Bowl Commercial Divides Social Media, Triggers Cow Milk Drinkers
Vegan milk brand Oatly released a Super Bowl LV commercial featuring a CEO Toni Petersson. In the 30-second spot, Petersson plays and sings a jingle about the brand while standing in a field. “It’s like milk, but made for humans,” he sings. “Wow, wow, no cow.” The commercial was divisive on Twitter with some calling it “weird,” even motivating some to go drink cow milk, while others called the jingle catchy.
Prepared for the hateration and holleration, Oatly released an “I totally hated that Oatly commercial” T-Shirt on its official website that “sold out” in about 5 minutes.

I really liked The lady’s guide to celestial mechanics and the follow-up, The care and feeding of waspish widows by Olivia Waite. These books have women who live great lives without men and have interesting jobs/skills. Do you know of m
