In January this year, electric-car maker Tesla incorporated Tesla Motors India and Energy Private Ltd with its registered office in Bengaluru. Tata Power refutes reports of engaging in talks with Tesla to set up EV charging infra in India 
New Delhi: Tata Power has denied all reports of engaging in talks with Tesla Motors India to set up electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the country.
However, Tata Power has refuted the media reports. In a stock exchange filing Tata Power said, We refer to your email bearing reference no. L/SURV/ONL/RV/RIS/ (2020-2021)/ 38 of even date, asking the Company to provide clarification on the news item which appeared in the CNBC TV 18 dated today.
