Walk-in vaccination sites up in Davao City

DAVAO CITY - Inoculation sites where Dabawenyos can walk in and get their first dose of the coronavirus disease 2019 vaccine have been opened across the city, the Davao Covid-19 Task Force Vaccination Cluster said in a statement Tuesday. Dr. Michelle Schlosser, the spokesperson of the Davao Covid-19 Task Force, said the City Health Office (CHO)-managed vaccination sites are now open for walk-ins after the city recently received a big supply of vaccines, particularly the Pfizer brand. She said in the previous months, walk-ins are highly discouraged as Dabawenyos should have to wait for their prioritization or priority group schedule. Now, however, residents can avail themselves of the vaccine in all vaccination hubs. "Interested Dabawenyos can (now) register and receive the vaccine on site.
