After purchasing the financially distressed Grosse Pointe News, new owner Sean Cotton said his next order of business is learning how to run a newspaper.
Cotton, 43, whose family sold Meridian Health for $2.5 billion in 2018, took some time off to contemplate how to spend his time and wealth. As a man of many interests art, philanthropy and the cannabis industry, as of late Cotton said he s been intrigued by community news for years.
