On Sunday, police reported the dismantling of a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror module in Jammu and Kashmir s Kulgam district, following the apprehension of four militant associates. According to a police spokesperson, security forces detained four terrorist associates and seized weapons and ammunition from them in the southern Kashmir district.
“Police have arrested 291 terrorist associates who allegedly provide logistics, shelter, transportation and identify targets for the militants,” Rashmi Ranjan Swain said. The police have busted 18 hideouts and 89 militant modules across J&K claiming that in almost 99 percent cases the handler of the module was a Pakistani who formed and ran it through encrypted messaging application and people in a module didn t even know each other.
