Theyre getting plenty of directions on the ground by a small army of street guides guides and the buses of the bay bridge have their own dedicated lanes. A lot of the street guides have been here since early this morning to help passengers to connect bart trains to the embarcadero and then walk to the transbay terminal to continue to trains to downtown oakland. Passengers from oakland told us the bus rise was not crowded. 25 to 30 minutes across the bridge. Bart says typical ridership is down 50 and they have a fleet of buses to provide shuttle service.
