reporter: the frightening case of road rage unfolded on a busy stretch of crain highway in gambrels. and police have now arrested 23- year-old ross brandon sudbrook, and charged him with assault and reckless endangerment. cops say he stabbed a 44-year- old during an altercation that lasted for miles and stunned those who watched it. the driver of the explorer and the guy who stabbed him, both got out of the vehicle first. and the guy who did the stabbing, approached the other guy and tried to fight him. blood just started pumping out of his shirt. it was an obscene amount of blood. reporter: according to police, sudbrook was a passenger in a car, and exchanged words with a guy in a ford ford explorer. that exchange got so intense, police say sudbrook stabbed the other man at crain highway and took off, with the stabbing victim, eventually running him off the highway about a mile up at churchville road. this is a very congested road in the route 3. this is 4:00 in the
