I cant believe how busy they were. There is graffiti on every column, beside the tracks, above the tracks, even above the third rail, a deadly high voltage and Officials Say that could have happened because the electricity was on all weekend when the taggers likely entered the station through the tracks, took out their paint cans and brushes and did their damage. This station was very well put together and today, looks like new york. Much of this graffiti is up pretty high, as you can see, and so officials are thinking the taggers might have brought their own stepladder and given the volume of vandalism, they are also thinking this could have taken more than a day to accomplish. You know, its a shame. There are surveillance cameras, but probably wont do any good since they are set up by personnel. I took a drive over the span a little more than an hour ago to see what it was like. Its interesting how you take for granted the lights when youre driving across it. Youre so used to it being illuminated when youre on your evening commute. Still no word what caused tonights blackout. I should mention a couple weeks ago the bridge lights went out as well.
