Speaking at the silver jubilee celebration of Tenyidie department under the Nagaland University on Saturday held at Ura Academy Hall in Kohima, Liezietsu, who is also the president of NPF, felt that the Naga society should not be misled by propagandas and narrow thinking mindsets. On the contrary, he stated that the people should have broad mind to forgive and respect one another. Addressing the solemn event, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, president of Ura Academy, highlighted the history and inception of Tenyidie language following the formation of Angami Literature Board in 1939, which was subsequently changed to the present day Ura Academy calling the Tenyimia community to collectively promote the language. Our Correspondent Kohima, May 27 (EMN): The President of Ura Academy, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu on Friday said that a living language should keep developing, adding that Tenyidie is one of such language, while urging the fraternity of Ura Academy to strategise on how Tenyidie speakers could expand. He was addressing the valedictory function of 52nd seminar of Ura Academy (premier institution of Tenyidie language) at Ura Academy Hall in Kohima on May 27. Dr. Lieizietsu said that Tenyidie literature board has now achieved a milestone of 83 years and after rechristening it to Ura Academy, it had completed 51 years, while it has been 25 years since the introduction of Tenyidie into Nagaland University.
