SRINAGAR: A man was allegedly stabbed by his brother-in-law in Batamaloo area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Monday. Reports reaching news agency KS said that during the night a man identified as Danish Mushtaq (27), resident of Tengpora Batamaloo was allegedly stabbed by his brother-in-law.

SRINAGAR: Officials in Jammu and Kashmir said on Wednesday that 20 more covid-19-related deaths occurred overnight, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 2200, with more than 200 deaths this month alone.
They said seventeen deaths were reported from Kashmir and three from Jammu division, taking the fatality count to 2217 846 in Jammu and 1371 in the Valley. J-K has reported 219 deaths in April so far and include 109 from Jammu division and 110 from the Valley.
Regarding fresh fatalities, officials told GNS that an 82-year-old from Kishtawar, Asarabad who was admitted in a hospital on 24 April with bilateral CAP died last night.
