Fast & Furious blockbuster is full of non-stop, over-the-top action, that s not all it is. While in conversation with

F9: The Fast Saga. This franchise reaching its ninth entry, or 10 counting
F9 also sees its release in the same month and year as the original film in 2001. This marks the 20th anniversary of the franchise, that looked like it was about two steps away from becoming bargain-bin, direct-to-video fodder with 2006’s
Tokyo Drift. With that in mind,
F9 sees the return of director Justin Lin to the series; the man responsible for transforming a mildly successful update of
Point Break about underground street racing into one of the biggest summer action-adventure popcorn film franchises on the planet.
F9 picks up sometime after the events of
If the first trailer for
Fast And Furious 9 served the drama, the second and latest trailer gets into the action, including one where a car launches into space. well, maybe.
According to actor John Cena – the newest cast member to join the franchise that began in 2001 – “the trailer leaves so much meat on the bone”.
He said this during a virtual global press conference on April 12 that
StarLifestyle was invited to.
Cena elaborated: “That’s what I’m really excited about seeing these two spectacular trailers, there’s still so much movie left.”
Actress Michelle Rodriguez agreed: “I don’t know how to top this (film).”
That was after years and years of an online campaign under the hashtag #JusticeForHan, and his return signified the producers really listening to the fans.
However, if you ve been keeping up with fan demands for these movies, following some of the more insane and OTT set-pieces of the previous entries, then you ll also know that there has been a constant push to finally get the Fast & Furious franchise into space.
And guess what? They ve only gone and done it!
From the looks of it, Roman (Tyrese Gibson) and Tej (Ludacris) are in the rocket-propelled vehicle about to break free of Earth s surly bonds. Quite why they re all the way up there, we don t know, but we do know that we can t wait to find out!

A new trailer has been released for blockbuster Fast & Furious 9, which was partly filmed in Hatfield and is due for release this summer.

When is F9 out?
The much-delayed movie is now due for release on June 25, 2021 in the US, and on July 8 in UK cinemas.
Scenes of
F9 were filmed on location at Hatfield House in the summer of 2019, with Vin Diesel on set at the Hertfordshire stately home.
