A new partnership in Grand Rapids is creating a path forward toward stability for youth experiencing homelessness making it easier to connect them with vital resources to thrive.
At 7:40 p.m., on Oct. 31, Kona patrol officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a community park in the Pualani subdivision in Kailua-Kona. As officers were attempting to break up a crowd, they received a second report of another disturbance on the street fronting the community park.
Kalamazoo city commissioners approved a $50,000 grant aimed a ending gun violence. A portion of the funds will go to Urban Alliance's Change of Status program.
