The suspect is described as a male with a medium build and complexion, 40 to 50 years old, with short black and gray colored hair. He was last seen wearing a light green long sleeve shirt and blue jean pants.
At 7:40 p.m., on Oct. 31, Kona patrol officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a community park in the Pualani subdivision in Kailua-Kona. As officers were attempting to break up a crowd, they received a second report of another disturbance on the street fronting the community park.
Troy Young was charged with Sexual Assault in the First Degree (knowingly subjected to sexual penetration, a person who was mentally defective) and Attempted Sexual Assault in the First Degree.
