According to the south dakota state patrol nelson was driving on highway 50 in the wrong lane when his vehicle cocoided head on with riibes vehicle. Nelson was pronounced dead at the scene, riibe died from her injuries at a sioux falls hospital. After the initial crash, two other vehicles each struck one of the two cars involved in the fatal crash. No one in those cars was injured. Tim a former coach at North High School was sentenced today.
