The Tremont Planning Board voted to table the finding of fact for the Pointy Head Campground after nearly three hours of discussion on Oct. 11. The remainder of the discussion will now take place on Nov. 15.
The Tremont Planning Board held a public hearing Aug. 23 regarding the Pointy Head Campground, which has been met with strong opposition from abutters.
The two sides in the eight-year battle over the resumption of quarrying in the village of Hall Quarry have until Aug. 8 to file briefs with the Mount Desert Zoning Board of Appeals.
