MOUNT DESERT — The Planning Board at its March 27 meeting was set to revisit its March 2022 denial of a quarrying license to Harold MacQuinn Inc. and Freshwater Stone.
The two sides in the eight-year battle over the resumption of quarrying in the village of Hall Quarry have until Aug. 8 to file briefs with the Mount Desert Zoning Board of Appeals.
Harold MacQuinn Inc. and Freshwater Stone have appealed the Planning Board’s denial of their application for a license to resume quarrying in Hall Quarry.
