The 2021 Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl is going to be a splash return for Shreveport s college bowl game! After missing 2020, due to various issues that can all be tied to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indy Bowl will get a prime date, time slot, and network for 2021.
This year s Indy Bowl will be played on Saturday, December 18th, at 2:30pm on ABC Network. That s right, a pre-Christmas Saturday on ABC.
For 2021, the Indy Bowl is set to have BYU take on a team from Conference USA. Of course, BYU has to become bowl-eligible, and Conference USA would need to be able to fill their commitment as well.
The 45th edition of the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl is slated for Saturday, December 18 – set to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CST at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, La.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Ticketholders and sponsors for the 2020 Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl will have three options regarding their purchases following the game’s cancelation.
According to a news release “the process of contacting ticket buyers and sponsors about which option they would like to exercise” will begin on Jan. 4 with three of the following choices:

The Army Black Knights will play the West Virginia Mountaineers in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, it was announced on Monday.
Army is replacing the Tennessee Volunteers in the game due to the Volunteers experiencing a rise in positive COVID-19 test results, including for head coach Jeremy Pruitt.
Army and West Virginia will square off at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis, Tenn., on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020 (New Year’s Eve). The game, which will be televised by ESPN at 4:00pm ET, will mark the fourth meeting between the two schools on the gridiron.
