Felicity Kendal has joined the cast of musical Anything Goes.
The production is scheduled to be staged at the Barbican Theatre in central London from June 5.
The Good Life actress, 74, joins West End star Gary Wilmot in the show, alongside Robert Lindsay and Megan Mullally.

Kendal said: “It’s wonderful to be joining this classic joyous show after the past terrible year of loss and lockdown.
Back at the New Wolsey, the spring season continued with the launch of the UK tour of Once – again sharing many of the same cast members who were featured in the original 2018 production. Again the re-staging was a huge hit and played to packed houses featuring Emma Lucia as the enigmatically named ‘Girl’ and Daniel Healy as ‘Guy’. It was the perfect, feelgood start to what we assumed would be a marvellously creative year.

Through a year of uncertainties, with bar and bat mitzvahs moving from event halls to Zoom screens, Adin Markowitz was sure of only one thing: When he turned 13 in December, his bar mitzvah would include singing, over-the-top dancing and a famous coat of many colors, come pandemic or high water.
It’s traditional for bar and bat mitzvah celebrants to chant the Torah portion in synagogue as they mark the rite of passage. For Markowitz, who was born on Hanukkah, that meant he would be reading Parashat Miketz, which tells the story of Joseph’s rise to power in Egypt.
Historic Royal Palaces and the Royal Albert Hall are among the recipients of £165 million worth of Government loans.
The National Theatre, Southbank Centre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal Opera House and English National Opera will also be receiving the loans.
The package, for arts and heritage organisations, is the latest round of funding from the £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund.
Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden said: “This Government promised it would be here for culture and today’s announcement is proof we’ve kept our word.
“The £1 billion invested so far through the Culture Recovery Fund has protected tens of thousands of jobs at cultural organisations across the UK, with more support still to come through a second round of applications.
come alive. when we visited, abraham s great grandson, joseph, was center stage. what most people probably immediately would think is joseph and the amazing technicolor dream coat. is this that? this is that same guy, that same coat, but this is the true biblical account. so less coat, more joseph? the show is not about the coat. it s a universal message of forgiveness. forgiveness is right at the heart of salvation itself. at sight and sound, they say the mission is selling this message, not just tickets. although when we visited, joseph had grossed almost $40 million that season alone. we don t do it for the pocketbook. we do it because we believe in the message of jesus christ. is it evangelizing? absolutely. very evangelical.
