LINN Students from all over the state gathered Thursday for the kickoff of the state SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference, where they exhibited their talents in 120 competitions in health sciences, culinary arts, automotive technology, carpentry, equipment technology and more.
A new 31,000-square-foot event and entertainment center at State Technical College is taking shape. And the new addition to Linn, a town of about 1,400, is slated to open in early August and replace the old Osage Country Club clubhouse.
