The California Public Utilities Commission passed two resolutions voting 3 to 1 on each to allow more driverless taxi rides in San Francisco. So crews and waymo will now have the ability to expand driverless rides around the city. This is an incremental approval. It builds on existing approvals and its not the last action. The cpuc or the dmv will be taking in regulating these vehicles.
