Shaina this morning, we are one day closer to the rose bowl. It is one day and 11 hours and eight minutes away to be precise. Needless to say, the Hawkeye State is excited. Iowa fans in pasadena came together for the first big rally on wednesday. The iowa marching band were on hand. Organizers say they planned for 15,000 fans but closer to 20,000 showed up in los angeles. From algona to mount ayr, almost every county in the state was represented, ready to cheer on the hawkeyes. The rose bowl is the granddaddy of them all and i missed the 91 rose bowl and i figured if they ever made it back i would be out here.
