An American General was shot and killed in afghanistan today in an apparent insider attack. The pentagon said a man dressed in an afghan army uniform fired at a group of International Soldiers at a military base near kabul. The military has not released the generals name. He is believed to be the highest ranking officer killed in afghanistan or iraq wars. 15 other people were wounded. Half of them were americans. We have more now from kabul.
