A Delhi Court on Tuesday dismissed the bail plea of former MLA Asif Mohammad Khan accused of allegedly manhandling and abusing a police officer on duty in Shaheen Bagh area.
Delhi Police on Friday lodged a case against Asif Mohammad Khan, father of Congress MCD councillor nominee Ms Ariba Khan, for misbehaving and manhandling with police personnel on duty in front of Shaheen Bagh Tayyab Masjid.
Asif Khan, a resident of Shaheen Bagh was addressing a public gathering in front of the Tayyab mosque, and misbehaved with Sub Inspector Akshay, who approached to Asif and inquired about the gathering
