The family of a 22-year-old youth has accused cow vigilantes of thrashing him to death after branding him a cow smuggler in Nuh district, but police said he died in a road accident.
“The dumper driver Mittar and cleaner Ikkar asked each other not to stop but teach us a lesson for issuing mining challans,” said ASI Sanjay Kumar, reader of slain Tauru DSP Surender Singh.
