The Department of Justice (DOJ)-led Task Force Against Corruption (TFAC) has received a total of 240 complaints as of last July 19.
DOJ Undersecretary Emmeline Aglipay Villar on Sunday, July 25, said that 20 complaints had been endorsed to the Office of the Ombudsman (OMB).
Justice Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra, on the other hand, said that “the OMB has acted upon and is currently evaluating the numerous complaints endorsed/filed by the TFAC….”
Guevarra said that one of the complaints received by TFAC and endorsed to the OMB involved the Free Wi-Fi for All project of the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
