Popular Gqeberha band Centrestage will debut their new frontman, Simon Shaw, to East London fans as they return to the Guild Theatre with their Sensational Six show next week. Shaw, 43, replaces former member Wayne Kallis, who is performing overseas.
From pilot to musician self-taught guitarist and musical sensation Simon Shaw will be leading the charge for Centrestage’s latest production, Sensational Six.
For the first time, Centrestage will step into the current decade of pop classics with their new show, titled Belting Babes and Funky Dudes, at the Music Kitchen on Friday.
Groovy musical comedy group Centrestage will be celebrating its 25th birthday with a new show The Songs which ROCKED our World at the Guild Theatre from November 14 to16. After a two-year hiatus, the troupe of eight musicians are returning to East London as part of the Super Lekker Summer Tour after sold-out shows on their home turf, Gqeberha, and they’ll be bringing two drum sets as part of the live experience.
