In 1992, Todd Tarselli was convicted of murder in the first degree after shooting the victim, 17-year-old Mark Bunchalk, in the head nine times before strangling him with a phone chord during a robbery at a KFC in Hazleton. Thursday morning, Tarselli appeared in court to appeal his sentence.
