Staff Reporter GUWAHATI: The Assam Association of the Deaf (AAD) has set the deadline of January 15, 2021 for the filling up of 511 backlog fourth grade posts, and to make that happen completion of interviews by December 28, 2020. Addressing the media here on Wednesday, AAD general secretary Tapan Kumar Sarma said, Since the responsibility of filling up the backlog vacancies has been entrusted to the Social Welfare department after the anomalies in recruitment by the State-Level Police Recruitment Board, it s the duty of the department to fill up the posts on its own. We want the department to hold all interviews by December 28, 2020 and appoint the candidates by January 15, 2021. We also demand the filling up of third grade backlog posts without further delay.
