TAMPA Yuri Andrade, the so-called Super Bowl streaker, will face another court date in late May after a judge turned down his plea deal.
Andrade, 31, made headlines when he ran onto the field at Raymond James Stadium during Super Bowl LV February 7th. He had placed bets worth more than $300,000 that would pay off if an intruder disrupted on-field action during the game. But that part came to naught when the betting sites refused to pay.
Andrade had offered to plead guilty to misdemeanor trespassing charges, serve six months probation, complete 25 community service hours, and write a letter of apology to the National Football League.
