The Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court Abhay Oka has suggested to the Principal District and Sessions Judges/Unit Heads to persuade all the Judicial Officers who are aged 45 years and above to take Covid-19, vaccination at the earliest.
The order issued on April 1 reads that During the pandemic of COVID-19, the judiciary in Karnataka has made the best possible efforts to continue the functioning of all the Courts. During the past few weeks, the cases of COVID-19 infections in the State are rising. One of the best methods to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to ensure that the Judicial Officers, the members of the Staff and the members of the Bar who are eligible for receiving vaccination take the vaccination immediately.
