You may have seen, or heard the Billerica Colonial Minute Men on Town Common Monday, April 19, volleying off shots to commemorate Patriots Day, here s why this year s celebration was smaller than usual.
While Patriots Day 2020 was mostly canceled in Billerica and around the state, this year s celebrations moved forward but were pared down drastically to meet the COVID-19 restriction.
While four of the Minute Men, including Select Board member Dan Burns, made their way to Town Common to celebrate, many of the local celebrations were made virtual for residents to enjoy at home.
