Iowa is reversing its decision to withhold COVID-19 vaccine doses from three of the five counties who didn t use 80 percent of their allocations last week.
The Washington County Health Department posted on Facebook it would get its vaccine allocation this week.
Chickasaw County Health Director Lisa Welter told the Des Moines Register the state told them they would try to send the county its expected doses this week.
Gov. Reynolds denied the counties doses because they hadn't met the 80% threshold. Counties include: Buchanan, Chickasaw, Hancock, Poweshiek and Washington.
