The Summit High School wrestling team is back on the mat for the 2022-23 wrestling season. Last season, Aidan Collins, Ethan Sicat, Luca Rizzo, Sylas Marsteller, PJ Trujillo and Wes Dennis competed at the 3A.
The Summit High School wrestling team competed at the 3A Region 1 meet from Friday, Feb. 11 through Saturday, Feb. 12 in Gunnison. The Tigers had six wrestlers at the regional meet, with four being.
The Summit High School boys wrestling team had three individuals place at the Western Slope League meet Saturday, Feb. 5, in Glenwood Springs. Senior Ethan Sicat had the highest finish among the Tigers, placing second.
With the regional meet in Pagosa Springs on tap for next weekend, the Summit High School wrestling team struggled Friday, Feb. 26, at Coal Ridge and Saturday, Feb. 27, in Eagle. It was 120-pounder PJ.
