Having to work as a labourer by day did not keep a 19-year-old from Kashmir from studying through the night and chasing his dream of becoming a doctor. His efforts paid off on Tuesday when he found out that he had cracked NEET.
SRINAGAR: Away from his home, toiling to make ends meet, Umar Ahmad Ganie of Zaggigam village of Pulwama district cracked the NEET in his very first attempt, media reports said. Working as a painter to support his family, Umar clinched success by scoring 601 marks in the NEET.
