Clemson Finishes as Co-Champion at Landfall Tradition

Clemson, SC Chloe Holder shot a school record tying 63, Annabelle Pancake shot a bogey free 66 to finish second individually, and Isabella Rawl birdied three of her last four holes to lead Clemson to the co-championship of the Landfall Tradition on Sunday at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, NC.Duke also had a 21-under-par score for the 54 holes and was presented the tournament championship trophy due to a tie-breaker system that compared the scores of the fifth best player on each team. Tigers Third After First Round of Landfall Tradition

Wilmington, N.C. – Clemson women’s golf sits in a tie for third place after the first round of the Landfall Tradition, held at the Country Club of Landfall on the 6,194-yard, par-72 Dye Course. The Tigers finished -5 on the back nine to climb into the top three after Friday’s play. Savannah Grewal leads Clemson with the Tigers’ best round of the day. The senior from Mississauga, Ontario, carded a four-under 68 on Friday. Grewal finished the back nine without a single bogey and turned in six birdies on the day to sit in a tie for third. Annabelle Pancake carded a two-under 70 as Clemson’s second-best scorer of the day. Pancake also finished the back nine without a bogey and recorded five birdies to sit in a tied for ninth. Tigers Tee Off at Landfall Tradition

Clemson, S.C. – Clemson women’s golf returns to the course on Thursday for the final time this fall, traveling to Wilmington, N.C. for the Landfall Tradition. The annual tournament is being held at the Country Club of Landfall on the 6,194-yard, par-72 Dye Course. Clemson will be joined in the field by Alabama, Arizona, Duke, ECU, Furman, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan State, NC State, Nebraska, Penn State, Purdue, SMU, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, UCF, and tournament-host UNCW. Savannah Grewal leads the Tigers’ lineup, in what could potentially be her final collegiate tournament. Grewal is currently going through LPGA Q-School and has advanced to the Q-Series, where players must give up their amateur status to participate. Grewal missed the Tigers’ last tournament as she competed in Stage II qualifying where she finished sixth.Chloe Holder is second in the Tigers’ lineup after finishing the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship as the highest Clemson finisher.
