The Maharashtra government has granted Grade A tourism site status to Nagpur’s Tekdi Ganesh temple. The upgrade makes the temple eligible to receive central government funds for development. The temple, with a 300-year-old history, attracts thousands of devotees daily and also receives annual footfall of 1,000 foreign tourists.
