Stogie Road Moving Production to Tabacalera Nuevo Nica S.A.
Stogie Road Cigars will be moving its production to Tabacalera Nuevo Nica S.A., the factory owned by Chris Weber of Veritas Cigars.
Earlier this year, the company said that it was leaving Tabacalera Kafie which made the company’s cigars for two years but didn’t announce where the new home production would be. As it turns out, it’s Tabacalera Nuevo Nica S.A., which was opened in Estelí, Nicaragua in late 2017.
“There will be a longer period of time than initially expected where product is not available except for what is remaining on store shelves,” said Kerry Horney, owner of Stogie Road, in a press release. “The four blends have been reworked, or as I like to say they’ve been remastered and will make for worthwhile wait and experience for our customers. We have not just rebranded our core line but created a new look from packaging to new cigar bands.”
Stogie Road Cigars Moves Production Out of Tabacalera Kafie
Stogie Road Cigars has announced that it will no longer be producing its cigars at Tabacalera Kafie in Danlí, Honduras and has begun the search for a new company to produce its cigars.
“I’d like to thank Gaby and the Kafie family,” said Kerry Horney, founder and president of Stogie Road Cigars, via a press release. “Gaby has been more than a mentor to me. I’d like to thank all of the individuals at the factory in Honduras for the past 2 years.” He did not expand on why he is moving production out of Tabacalera Kafie.
