Stogie Road Moving Production to Tabacalera Nuevo Nica S.A.
Stogie Road Cigars will be moving its production to Tabacalera Nuevo Nica S.A., the factory owned by Chris Weber of Veritas Cigars.
Earlier this year, the company said that it was leaving Tabacalera Kafie—which made the company’s cigars for two years—but didn’t announce where the new home production would be. As it turns out, it’s Tabacalera Nuevo Nica S.A., which was opened in Estelí, Nicaragua in late 2017.
“There will be a longer period of time than initially expected where product is not available except for what is remaining on store shelves,” said Kerry Horney, owner of Stogie Road, in a press release. “The four blends have been reworked, or as I like to say they’ve been remastered and will make for worthwhile wait and experience for our customers. We have not just rebranded our core line but created a new look from packaging to new cigar bands.”
