Balan Engineering rolls out six variants of electric vehicles

These different variants cater to the needs of individuals, cargo transport, agriculture, and civic amenities. Balan Engineering, a Bengaluru-based company, launched six variants of electric vehicles (EVs) to suit the individuals and companies focussed on cargo transport, agriculture, and civic amenities.
The EVs unveiled on Thursday included the Electric Loader-Vishwas, Electric Garbage Vehicle-Swach Rath, Electric Passenger Rickshaw-B5, Electric Sanitizing Vehicle, Electric Fumigation Vehicle and Electric Push Cart-Kamala.
“These are more relevant in boosting the rural economy and in large civic corporations and institutions. The EVs are durable and sturdy. The company will offer a four years warranty on battery and motor controller,” said Balakrishnan N, Director, Balan Engineering.

Bengaluru, Jan 28 : Karnataka Industries Minister Jagadish Shettar on Thursday rolled out six variants of electric vehicles (EVs) to boost rural economy through cargo transport, ferrying agriculture goods and providing civic amenities. The six EVs of Balan Engineering Ltd will boost rural economy by transporting farm goods, cargo, garbage and commuters, using clean energy as they are battery operated, said Shettar on the occasion.
The six EV variants are loader Vishwas, garbage vehicle Swach Rath, passenger rickshaw B5, sanitizing vehicle, fumigation vehicle and push cart - Kamala.
